Why give to the Community Solutions Fund? 

A gift to the Community Solutions Fund allows you to help the most people and do the most good for our entire community. 
An undesignated gift takes advantage of United Way’s thorough, research-based program selection. Our community’s problems are interrelated and United Way’s diversity of programs work to address the root causes of issues in a way that leverages a donor’s investment. You can give to United Way with the confidence that each donation will be invested wisely where it will have the greatest impact.
 
United Way understands that some donors choose to direct a portion of their gift to a specific agency. Although we process these donor-directed contributions as a service to our donors, United Way is unable to guarantee how designated funds to a specific agency will be used or ensure measurable results by the recipient agency.
Donor designations are separate from the Community Solutions Fund grant awards to agencies.
