The United Way of the Eastern Panhandle COVID-19 Recovery Fund will provide flexible resources to organizations in Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan counties working with individuals and families who have been adversely affected by the coronavirus and the economic hardships of this pandemic. Funds will also be directed to 2-1-1 and the Regional Resource Connection (RRC).
The Fund has been established to expand local capacity to address all aspects of the outbreak as efficiently as possible.
These grants are designed to address the unmet needs of individuals and families due to the loss of income caused by COVID-19 related closures. These needs may include, but are not limited to, food, emergency shelter, transportation, prescriptions, medical supplies, utility and housing bills, childcare, and mental health services.
100% of donations to United Way of the Eastern Panhandle's COVID-19 Recovery Fund will go directly to relief efforts. There are no administrative fees associated with the Recovery Fund.
