2018-2019 Grant Cycle Announced

United Way of the Eastern Panhandle (UWEP) is pleased to issue its 2018-2019 LIVE UNITED and Community Impact Grant Applications. Any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, including schools and government agencies, that serve the West Virginia counties of Morgan, Berkeley and Jefferson are eligible to apply for grants funded by UWEP.

United Way of the Eastern Panhandle is committed to creating lasting change with measurable improvements for people in need within the Eastern Panhandle. As part of that commitment, UWEP invests in high performing organizations that provide programs and services that align with our impact areas and focus issues. Funding is granted through a competitive application process each year.

LIVE UNITED grants are available for requests for $5,000 and under.
Community Impact grants are available for requests over $5,000

Grant applications should align with UWEP Impact Areas and Focus Issues. United Way's Impact Areas are Education, Income, Health and Basic Needs. Please see the Grant Application Guidelines for more information on Impact Areas, Focus Issues, Targeted Goals and Suggested Outcome Measures.

An organization may submit multiple applications for separate programs. However, any funded program may receive only one Community Impact or LIVE UNITED grant per UWEP’s fiscal year which runs from July 1 to June 30.

All applications are due by close of business on March 2, 2018.  Applications will be considered by a volunteer review team, and grant awards will be announced in June 2018.
