Federal employee donations are a critical element of our annual campaign and account for 26% of all dollars raised. These dollars come from federal agencies located in the Panhandle and surrounding installations to include the National Capital Area.
Pledges made by federal employees, including civilian, postal and military donors, during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide valuable health and human benefits. The member agencies of the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle Federation undergo an annual certification process reviewed by both their boards of directors and The United Way of the Eastern Panhandle, Inc. This process ensures that member agencies use donor dollars wisely to make a difference right here in the Eastern Panhandle. Federation members are not charged dues.
