GIVE ADVOCATE VOLUNTEER OUR WORK

Messages from the Hearts of Loyal Contributors

I give because I have more then I need to live off of. God has given me much therefore I have much to share with others. My prayer is that I may become a better steward of what I have, so that I could be able to give more to those who are in need.
- Alonzo Puller, 10 years

Best resource to give back to the community as a whole.
-Ergin Erdem, 12 years

As someone who works with children, I am pleased to contribute to an organization that does so much for children right here in our community. I never worry that my donation is going towards anything but wonderful people who need and deserve all the help they can get.
-Cheryl Colbert, 19 years

Fulfills many pressing needs in the community for kids, seniors, medical care, and recreation and enhances life in our communities in many very positive ways. Keep it up!!!!
-Richard Durham, 15-20 years

I feel a responsibility to help out and contribute to my community. Through United Way, I know my money will be spent wisely in the areas and for the people that need it the most. I see the good work that United Way does and feel privileged to be a part of the organization through donations and volunteering.
-Karen Hensell, 15 years

When one has limited financial resources, giving to United Way becomes a real feel-good situation -- knowing my small contribution gets combined with many others thus providing more meaningful benefits to any number of worthwhile agencies in our community.
-Robert Wegner, 25 years

We give each year to the United Way because of the funded partners. Each organization serves people in our community and helps to make the Eastern Panhandle a great place to live! It's our way of giving back and saying "Thank You" to the many service organizations and volunteers in our community.
-Scott & Lisa Bivens, 25 years
