Why does the United Way conduct campaigns at businesses?
- Employee campaigns are our lifeblood. They make up 60% of our donations. Payroll deduction is a powerful tool to help our community.
How do I know donated dollars are being used appropriately?
- Volunteers on our fund distribution panels hold the agencies accountable by monitoring operating costs, the number of people served, and the quality of service.
- We protect your donation year-round. If agencies are having trouble we go back in to assist.
