Thanks to All Who Volunteered

Martinsburg:

As the office manager of the Briarwood Dental Center in Martinsburg and a volunteer at the Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic this past weekend, I must commend every volunteer who donned a colored T-shirt, specific to their assigned task, and assisted (more than 1,000) people receive free dental care.

From the greeter at the front door to those who escorted patients out of the clinic and everyone in between who provided comfort and care to those who otherwise may never have had the opportunity to get the dental care they needed, I applaud you.

To the dental students, dentists, hygienists, specialists and assistants who provided the dental services and worked tirelessly, often without many breaks, I applaud you.

I am extremely proud to be in a profession that answered a call to serve.

Last, but certainly not least, I would like to recognize the patients who endured long lines to receive their treatment. You are no longer in the shadows.
