Goals:

• To expand health fairs to all intermediate schools in Berkeley County
• To assist in increasing participation rates in the CARDIAC Project
• To implement a physician referral program for pediatric patients at Shenandoah Community Health Center
• To extend the personalized Physical Education pilot program to all Berkeley County high schools
• To assist in nutrition/fitness presentations within the Berkeley County Schools after school program at the Boys and Girls Club
• To educate more public/private community groups about WVKIA and solicit financial and volunteer support

The WVKIA Steering Committee meets the first Thursday of each month at noon
