The United Way of the Eastern Panhandle is pleased to partner with FamilyWize to help local families start saving money on prescription drugs today.

The FamilyWize prescription drug discount cards are now available for people in our community to help lower the cost of their medicine. FamilyWize cards are free to the public and there is no enrollment fees or sign up necessary!

The discount cards can be used by anyone who does not have prescription drug coverage or for any medication not covered through insurance, Medicaid or Medicare plans.  Everyone can benefit from carrying one of these cards!

If you haven't received a card, contact the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle at (304) 263-0603 or download and print your own card form the FamilyWize website.

Most Eastern Panhandle pharmacies accept the FamilyWize prescription drug discount card.  They have no usage or age limits, income requirements or registration forms and can be used immediately.

Local pharmacies accepting the FamilyWize card include:

     Martinsburg

          CVS, K-Mart, Martins, Moore's, Wal-Mart, and Weis

     Inwood

          Patterson's Drug Store and South Berkeley Pharmacy

     Hedgesville

          Reed's Pharmacy

     Ranson

          CVS and Jefferson Pharmacy Inc.

     Charles Town

          CVS, Martins, Stuck & Alger Pharmacy Inc., and

            Wal-Mart

     Berkeley Springs

          Reed's Pharmacy   

Cards can be obtained from participating agencies including:  Department of Health and Human Resources, Community Networks, Shenandoah Women's Center, Senior Life Services, and United Way just to name a few.  Cards can also be printed from the FamilyWize web site.
